Key Information

Reading
Please bring your reading books and reading record into school everyday. We will support children when changing their books, please clearly write in reading records if a book is completed at home so we don't change books unnecessarily.

  PE
Monday and Wednesday- Please ensure your child wears their PE kit to school on these days. All PE lessons will take place outside and unless the weather is really bad, they will continue to happen outside. It is essential that your child brings a fleece and jacket if the weather is cold and wet so that lessons can continue.

Forest School
Forest school is back! Our slot is Friday afternoons, starting with Group A  on Friday 17th April. Please see separate timetable emailed out. On these days, please send your child to school in their forest school clothes. Please send them with a change of clothes, wellies if it's wet or suncream and hat if it's sunny. If you are able to support, please contact the office.

Homework: Will be given out each week. Please return it by the following Monday.

Our Learning

Enquiry: What is a Monarch?

Our final history topic is: “What is a Monarch?”. We will be looking back into British history beyond living memory, discovering how William the Conqueror came into power and how life changed during his rule. We will also learn out our current Monarch, King Charles III and understand how the role of a monarch has changed over time. This learning will feed into other areas of our curriculum, including our D&T where we will be constructing working drawbridges.
