Amanda Williams

Nursery Supervisor

I feel very lucky to be part of the team who helped create Wivelsfield Wrens Nursery last year. Early Years is my passion – children learn so much in these formative years and I love teaching and seeing them delight in their learning!

Outside of nursery I spend most of my time with my family, walking my two very energetic and crazy labradors for hours and catching up with friends locally and in London.

Diana Milner

Deputy Nursery Supervisor

I am a busy Mum with two teenage children. I have been working with young children for over 20 years, with a level 3 qualification in child care and education. I still find great joy in building relationships and watching children in my care flourish and develop. I am particularly proud and grateful for my time spent meeting and supporting families at Chailey Heritage School. The move back to mainstream education and my passion for early years has been amazing, especially since joining the supportive team at Wivelsfield Primary School.

Leanne Barnes

Nursery Assistant

In 2022, I started a NVQ level 3 early years educator qualification. I am pleased to say I passed. When I heard that Wivelsfield school was going to be opening a brand-new nursery I was so excited and jumped straight at the chance to apply for the position as a nursery assistant. I was so pleased when I received the call to say I was successful. I have a medical background with experience working on different wards at the Royal Sussex County Hospital along with a Health and Social Care qualification, so lots of transferable skills to bring with me. I am enjoying working at Wrens Nursery and watching your little ones learn and grow! I have lived in the village for almost 5 years, and I have four beautiful children, three who attend Wivelsfield primary school and one who has just left to start her journey at secondary school. In my spare time I like to go for walks along the beach and hang out with my family and friends.

Claire Keast

Nursery Apprentice

I have lived in Wivelsfield green for 7 years and love what a lovely community it is , I have two boys who both have attended Wivelsfield Green School and Thrived! It's such a nurturing school, and I was so happy to be offered the position of nursery assistant, to make a difference and join the Wivelsfield Green School family! helping wrens grow and learn getting the children ready to go into reception. In my spare time, I love nothing more than spending time with my family, cooking, and crafting, and walking our crazy cockerpoo on muddy walks.
